The great indoor Easter of 2016!
It rained, and it rained, and it rained. It drizzled, misted, stormed, flooded, and every other type of rain you can imagine for the past 3 days, but that didn’t stop us from having a great weekend.
Thursday night we had a GREAT learn to knit class at the shop. Carolina from Fuzzy Goat came over to teach, and we can’t wait to have all of these ladies back again next Thursday!
Friday was a rainy, rainy day in Bainbridge, and Ashley Long, our Maiden South artist in residence, and I took advantage of some downtime for some creative pursuits.
Saturday I took my weekly bump pictures in the mirror at the shop – much more pleasing to the eye than me taking them at home in my bathroom. Wrapped up week 33 and on to week 34!
Saturday after I closed up shop, I spent the rest of the afternoon baking pound cakes, whipping cream, and putting together Seminole pumpkin casserole. Recipes forthcoming! Sunday morning before church I put the strawberry trifle together and snapped some quick pictures before we headed out.
We ate lunch after church with Wheat’s family, which was wonderful, as always, then came home and put the ham in the oven and my parents, sister and Marc, and Elah arrived. Elah didn’t seem to mind too much that we stayed inside all afternoon. She was pretty content with her eggs and plastic grass this year.
