Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day!

One of my favorite memories of Thanksgiving growing up was watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade at my Grannie’s house (and eating her amazing buttermilk biscuits while doing so).  Last year, Wheat spent the entire month of November in New Jersey working (during Hurricane Sandy), and we weren’t exactly sure when he was coming home, so I flew up and we had our first married Thanksgiving in New York City.  We had the VERY BEST TIME.  So I thought I’d wax poetically about how amazing that first Thanksgiving together was and share some pictures from the parade and our first Thanksgiving as Mr. and Mrs. Wheat Kirbo.

And with that, I hope everyone has the most wonderful Thanksgiving Day.  I just wanted to pop in and say that I’m thankful for all of y’all!  I so appreciate you reading, and I am grateful that I started this blog and have met and reconnected with so many great people because of it.  I’m thankful for all of our family and friends, fur babies, good food, and wine (lots of wine).  So cheers to full hearts and full bellies this Thanksgiving!

Until Next Time
