Our freezer in the shed went out last week, and in order to accommodate all the stuff in our freezer in the kitchen, our wedding cake we were saving to eat on our anniversary got the boot. So we hope eating it a couple weeks early isn’t bad luck!
A last minute recipe I came up with for chicken, using fresh herbs from my herb garden. Plus some roasted broccoli. It was delicious!
And finally, I baked this cake for a family get together on Saturday: a 14 layer vanilla cake with lemon curd filling and a lemon-vanilla bean swiss meringue buttercream icing. Recipe coming later in the week!
